Why Delhi misses the time lines

I am not sure how many of you have heard this story about the boat race.
The story goes like this." Indians along with other countries decided to compete in the boat race, took an old Australian's boat, painted the same with made in India tag and mother of all surprises came third in 5 team race. Inspired by the team performance the ministry immediately acted, and appointed a manager. The manger wanted to be in the thick of things and decided to be in the boat and one rower was dropped to accommodate the same. Next year obviously the team was last.
The board unhappy with the rowers sacked 2 more and appointed 2 more experts and we had a 3 managers for 3 rowers combination , with due coarse of time the team's performance went immediately down and the event continued but Indians were out of that."

The Firoz Shah Kotla and common wealth games are burning examples of same old story.
So Delhi meri jaan jaha hain ishq mohhabat pyar but no kaam, is building a reputation for the same.

People here are wrong from the basics itself. You do not have to be a rocket scientist here to find out what the problems here are.
Procrastination and laziness is termed as being cool, may be something to do with the weather.
Time lines are considered as party start timings, where the later you reach the bigger you are considered.

My heart saddens when I see better guys suffering and less talented people being worshipped because they are better players of petty office games.
And mind you no body is more presentable than Delhi guys and gals, but people tend to forget that your work is counted more. I guess some body needs to bring a Vivekananda here too.

When you pay for the ticket you do not go for the cheer leaders. Yes they are there to play their part,
But you expect to watch a close game with some nice fours and sixes.
Shame that most of the Delhi is run on gossips and grapevine, where water fountain talks are considered more seriously than board room talks.

I find here people are spending more time in fixing other people than fixing problems.

Virender Shehwag and others are not fools that they do not see it but again a few good men can not change the system.
Ye kalyug hain, yaha kauwa hi moti Khaiyega.

Why Nerds from IITs should be banned....

Thanks to 3 idiots ( the movie) I have my new post.
First of all I am not from IIT .I did not loose my engineering days in college nor did I waste my school days preparing for the same.
I was sitting in one of the client dinners, and the Americans were going at length how Indians waste their child hood days studying and general perception is that after 4th standard every Indian child doesn't get to watch TV.

Believe me after Sardars, the second best known export (read IITians) from India, have indeed created the same image everywhere and Indian corporate world and companies are aiding the misconceptions.
These corporate babus have not given the country anything apart from dollars sent via western union transfers and like corrupt netas helped themselves in the due course of their lives.

Best manipulators and gainers of the Indian education system ,these champion muggers have reached the level where they have started influencing others life(including mine, reason why I have started protesting).

http://www.rediff.com/money/2008/may/15iit.htm

The Indian society (read parents and corporate) have worshipped them as if they are avatars of lord Vishkarma, the god's engineer.

Now few pointers for those who want to catch these buggers early.
In school, these are ones who are missing from the cricket, basketball matches.
Remember! Missing and not some one who is not even called.

Always championing the cause of private tuitions and coaching institutes.

Mr Nobody in their child hood days.

The first post I wrote was short because I couldn't complete it ,but this one is short on purpose because I need to re-string my tennis racket ,which my American colleagues nor many of my friends know I have been using on the tennis court from Bachpan to Jawani .......
and Chetan Bhagat Nathu Paanwala has better stories than yours.

Tale of 2 cities

Ever since I came back from US, I have been itching to write about Mumbai and Delhi. The two Metros I have been fortunate to stay in.

First off all I need not tell this to my US returned friends why the love for India suddenly awakes, still for beginners, it is a white people (read the US immigration) induced feeling that forcefully secretes the nationalist juices out of you and never fails to remind that you are an Indian!

Not to digress too much from topic of my blog, let me take the 2 cities under my scrutiny one by one and my association with both.

Mumbai(2000-2007)
I reached Mumbai when my father decided (to be fair to him, he had to) that engineering is best for me.
I still remember the day I landed at the Bandra terminal, Not because it was raining but some Chagan Bhujbal was arresting Bal Thakrey (I have a lot of Maharashtrian friends).

From the sleepy and laid back shores of Versova to hustle and bustle of Mulund to silence and serenity of Navi Mumbai my college life and study budget forced me to move to places in Mumbai but the morning destination remained the same.

Squeezed (you will have to go and see yourself) between the TISS and RK Studi0 and Dukes bottling plant the glorious institute of SAKEC.

Lost My pure hindi dilect Found: Wada Paav
Lost Feeling like human Found: Wada Paav

The list may go on but honestly speaking Mumbai for me remains the Wada Paav.

Simple, Appetizing and filling. All the same everywhere.

All I used to do initially was to study and eat Wada Paav (I am a veggie) and ocassionally visit the main city to check out the cheap clothes and electronics stuff.

Sorry but the city in the movies was never to be seen, the ultra rich or the famished poor.
I still ask myself was I ever in Mumbai.

Delhi(2007- US-Till date)

Delhi is the capital and every bit and inch of this city says that.
People and politics ...People and their politics ...politics and its people.
Office politics, nukkad politics and the official politics.

Yup I am a bit perplexed and I am still trying to understand this place and its people.

People overplay their position and roles so much(For the benefit of ordinary mortals it is a offshoot of Filmy overacting).

May be people take themselves seriously and are forcing themselves to act as a mature individual which is not required.

Conclusions

Men have been acting like this for centuries and for finding reasons meet the girls.
Atleast I am honest .
